SF Fringe Apps Open December 1, 2017

The San Francisco Fringe Festival thanks the performers, the audience members, the volunteers, the technicians, the staff, the media and the entire Fringe community for another successful festival. Now we start work on the 2018 San Francisco Fringe Festival. Here is a list of the “Best of Awards” that were announced at the Closing Night Party:

PERFORMER APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE HERE DECEMBER 1, 2017

Applications to perform in the 27th annual San Francisco Fringe Festival will be available on the SF Fringe website www.sffringe.org starting December 1, 2017.  Applications will be accepted online until Valentine’s Day February 14, 2018. Performers in the festival will then be selected through a public lottery.

The 27th annual San Francisco Fringe Festival will present 84 performances by 21 theater companies between September 6th and September 15, 2018 in downtown San Francisco. The SF Fringe is open to all performers and is un-censored and non-curated with performers chosen by lottery.

The San Francisco Fringe Festival is produced by EXIT Theatre and is the largest grassroots theater festival in the Bay Area. During the last 26 years the SF Fringe has presented 5,087 performances by 1,080 independent theater companies and hosted thousands of Indie Theater workers on our stages.
