Denmo Ibrahim (director, co-creator and performer in The Mandala Olive Project at DIVAfest 2005) is co-artistic director of mugwumpin, a performance group she has recently co-founded in San Francisco who recently exploded onto the Bay Area theater scene with their experimental new work Rabbit Causes Dog ("Best of Fringe", Best New Play Local", "Techies Choice Award"). She has co-created Bouge! which performed to sold out houses in Germanys' Bebersee Festival '04. As a performer, she has been nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Award (Boston) and a Joseph Jefferson Award (Chicago) for Best Actress in a Lead Role. She holds an M.F.A.in the Lecoq-Based: Actor Created Physical Theatre Program from Naropa University.
