stuff: race, sex, death, and love if you're lucky)"; and "Mother/Me",
which explores the lives of three women whose blood and temperament run
in her veins.
-
- To support herself, Mia has kept the juke box going and sold pork rinds
in a poolroom in Arkansas, attempted to look chic and knowledgeable as
an art gallery assistant in the Place des Vosges, buried roaches in the
whipped cream in an ice cream shop in Cambridge, Massachusetts, made quite
a few German people laugh as a French-Italian-English translator/shoe model
for a fashion showroom in Milan, and worked as an artist's model in San
Francisco, among other things. (Speaking of changing angles.)
-
- Mia dedicates some life to the memories of her brother, Martin, and
Pierre Restany.
