Applications accepted via the following online form ONLY.

Submissions will be admitted into FRIGID New York according to rules layed out in the GENERAL APPLICATION INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS .

*Once an application has been submitted any changes to the name of "Company/Artist" or "Title" provided on your original application must be given in writing and accompanied by a $50 processing fee.


IMPORTANT NOTICE

Applications may be submitted until 12:00 AM (midnight) on October 30, 2007. Applications will only be accepted through the online form below. FRIGID New York will charge a $30 Application Fee and, if selected into the festival, a Performance Fee based upon the venue.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Take care when providing information and proof your responses before sending. We will reproduce data EXACTLY as you send it to us - normally we do not correct improper capitals or misspellings. Our assumption is that you have included such anomolies as a marketing or artistic choice.

Once you have finished proofing the entire form (please read the disclaimers and notices as well) and are satisfied that the information is complete, PRINT A COPY FOR YOUR RECORDS!, then click on the large grey button labeled ACCEPT MY APPLICATION NOW! This will send the information you have provided to the Festival.

Wherever possible, you should respond to all questions on the form! Where a choice is offered select the most appropriate even if it is not a perfect match. If you have no response to a question or it is not applicable then leave the response blank. Required information is indicated with REQUIRED and the form will not be sent unless these are completed.

Note that if you are communicating using a Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail or other 'free' account, such providers often limit the use of their accounts. Limitations based on mail volume, attachment size or to non-commercial purposes are not uncommon. This means that it is possible that FRIGID New York communications are sometimes rejected or redirected automatically to your junk box. For a Standard Venue you MUST supply at least one non-performer capable of serving as STAGE MANAGER and enough crew to set and strike your show in 15 minutes. The Fringe will provide you with ONE technician to run either lights and/or sound.

PLEASE consider all possible conflicts. This information will be used to determine your performance schedule. After your performance is scheduled NO changes are possible.

APPLICATION AND PERFORMANCE FEE

Payments are only accepted by card.

Payment of the APPLICATION FEE ($30) will be charged to your credit card upon receipt of your application and must be approved for the application to be validated. Invalid applications will be removed from consideration.

If your company secures a place in The Festival as a participant, the PERFORMANCE FEE will be charged to your credit card at that time and must be approved for the application to be validated. Invalid applications will be removed from consideration.

All applications will be accepted on a 1st come 1st serve basis up until the first 18 available performance slots are filled. After that we will put all additional applications recieved by the deadline into a lottery to fill another 7 available performance slots. The lottery will be held on Halloween Night October 31, 2007. At this drawing we will also draw up to ten more shows for the waiting list. The last five performance slot will be held for companies drawn at the CAFF Lottery in November.

100% of Fringe box office ticket sales go to the individual companies (except for a processing fee charged to patrons on advance ticket orders and Frequent Flyer passes).

The card ID number is the 3-digit number located on the back of your card except for American Express which is a 4-digit number on the upper right corner on the front), usually at the top right side of the signature strip.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST READ AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

Fees and Notification
We will e-mail a confirmation of the receipt of your application once we get it. Payment of the Application Fee ($30) will be run upon receipt of your application and must be approved for the application to be validated. Invalid applications will be removed from consideration. Notification of Particiants in the Fringe will be available online at www.FRIGIDnewyork.info as the participant list grows. If your company secures a place in The Festival as a participant, Horse Trade will then charge your Performance Fee (based on your venue choise and availability). Applicants drawn (at the Lottery) for the Wait List will be notified if a slot becomes available. Only if the applicant accepts this slot will their Performance Fee be charged.


Withdrawals and Refunds
All withdrawals from The Festival must be made in writing by the company's primary contact. If a company withdraws, notification must be received by December 14, 2007 in order to receive a 50% refund of the performance fee. A company that withdraws after this date will forfeit 100% of its performance fee. Applicants on the Wait List may withdraw at any time at no charge.

Only one application per company/or individual will be accepted into the application process.

Companies accepted into the Festival cannot sell or transfer their spot in the Festival to another party. If a company is found to have sold or transferred its space, both companies will be removed from the Festival and the original peformance fee will be forfeited to the Festival.

The Festival reserves the right to cancel confirmed applications should circumstances arise which in the opinion of Festival staff would interfere with the mounting of the production or the festival as a whole.

The Festival will accept no liability for performance cancellations as a result of natural phenomena or the actions of third parties or as a result of a performance venue's suitability or lack thereof for any particular purpose. The Festival makes no guarantee whatsoever regarding the suitability of any particular venue for performance presentation. In the event of a loss of a venue (or an unforeseen loss of Festival revenue needed to operate a venue) the Festival reserves the right to cancel the performances in that venue. In such an event, cancelled groups will be placed at the top of the waiting list or they may withdraw from the festival and receive a full refund of their application fee.

Furthermore the Festival collects and processes performer box office receipts as a volunteer service only. Any liability for the loss or theft of box office revenue at any time is borne solely by the performing company. Each company is welcome to provide its own box office staff provided said staff person makes themselves available for a box office training session prior to the festival opening.

All performing companies agree to adhere to the laws of New York City and New York State and the policies, procedures and safety restrictions of the theater spaces. All companies are obligated to act in the best interests of the Festival as a whole at all times. The Festival reserves the right to cancel any or all performances of any performing company not adhering to these regulations.

Upon acceptance to the Festival, participants are required to submit all requested materials and information in full and on time. Failure to do so may result in said participants removal from the Festival. In addition all promotional and publicity materials must refer to said participation as " (participating company/individual) in association with FRIGID New York present (Title)". No outside producers or presenters will be permitted.

Submission of this application and subsequent payment shall indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions contained herein.
