A classic noir style murder mystery set in the shadows of San Francisco. Trudy's dead, now she could catch up on her sleep. Harper has a heart of gold with a bank account to match. Treating men badly isn't Lorraine's hobby it's her profession. Frank always gets the story, but never the girl. "Have you ever wanted something so bad, you'd kill for it?" Sometimes…relationships can be murder!
Director - WILLIAM HALL is a co-founder of Fratelli Bologna and Bay Area Theatresports . This is William's third Fringe show. He previously directed the 1995 Best of Fringe Show, "Buncha Buncha Grapes" and the 1996 audience favorite, "Seedless."
 
Performers - Susan Allen, Carla Hatley and Dana Kelly were all founding members of Bunch Bunch Grapes who produced two Fringe shows - "Buncha Buncha Grapes" and "Seedless." They return now with First Draft for "Double Counterpoint."
 
SUSAN ALLEN recently wrote and performed two pieces for First Draft's "Shades" at Exit Stage Left this past summer. She has also performed at Theatre Rhino and The Intersection.
 
CARLA HATLEY is the founder of First Draft, which first started as a writing workshop for women and now focuses on producing the work of women performers /writers. She has appeared in numerous commercials and played Casey's Mother in Wes Craven's SCREAM.
 
DANA KELLY has been seen on TV in "The Live Boys Tell" with Kirk Douglas, worked on numerous McDonald's commercials as a puppeteer and recently turned to directing.
 
Past Performances:
First Draft has performed at Venue 9 with "First Draft - The Next Step" and at Exit Stage Left with "Untitled: Black Ink On Paper" and "Shades."
