5review = A great show for the Fringe. Olaf adds his own sharp touches to clown material. He connects very well with his audience, and really gets everyone involved in the performance.

5review = Bravo!

I wish I had seen "An Evening with Olaf" sooner so as to enjoy it again during the Fringe!

Paul DelBene has mastered a level of physical comedy that combines commedia, clowning, dance and acrobatics in way occasionally reminiscent of the master comedians of the silent era, but with a flair and flavor uniquely Olaf.

Involving the audience from the moment they enter and going back to favorites to play with and pick on, Olaf is a delight beyond compare. And you'll never look at a mop, a dustpan and the tango in the same light again!

If over the coarse of the next year you see "An Evening with Olaf" advertised, trip over yourself to see it. Olaf will trip over you and tickle you in return.

5review = This was the only thing that looked remotely interesting in it's slot so, while mumbling to myself, "oh well another clown show" I went and my cynicism was delightfully coldcocked! Paul is a first class clowner with inspired routines. Hysterical and original despite the framework of routines that reminded me of Bill Irwin and David Shiner. Check it out.

5review = The best thing I've seen at the Fringe. I laughed so hard it hurt. Not just comedy that is genius in it's simplicity, but excellent rapport with his audiences. You MUST NOT MISS THIS SHOW....but you can't have my seat, so back off.

5review = This is a GREAT show. An spontaneous review I overheard on the way out of the theatre says it all -- as we were leaving, a woman near me was saying to her friend "That was an absolute delight!" I couldn't agree more.
You will laugh a lot and leave feeling good all over.

5review = I have seen Olaf (Paul Del Bene) perform twice. I would recommend it to anyone above fetal age.

American comedy is verbal and increasingly raunchy. Olaf is non-verbal and raucus. Think Chaplin or Penn. The humor sneaks up on you and you still think it's funny an hour later.
