5review = As once a cast member, to an audience member, to again a cast
member. Everytime I see the show it gets better and better. It is intelligent,
funny, and conceptually brilliant. Eva Minemar is well ahead of her time.
She brings to the table real issues and examines them in such a way that
peaople of all ages can relate & understand where the actors are coming
from. She deals with a wide rane of issues that plaque our society and
leavesthe audience questioning their own beliefs. They will walk away remembering
scenes from the show and they will think before doing some of their everyday
robotic functions

5review = I saw the "Angry Jellow Bubbles" last week at the New
York International Fringe Festival. The program guide stated that each member
of the cast wrote her own piece.
Through Minemar's direction, the piece becomes a part of the whole arrangement
which incorporates movement, song, and improvisation along with the scripted
material. The show is different each time it's performed because different
women are in the show from time to time and this, I feel, is what keeps
the show real - the ability of these women to be open and honest on the
stage and to express what they really feel at that moment. This is also
what increases the intensity of the show. Ten women in an honest performance
centered around a theme so important in our culture: beauty.
"Angry Jellow Bubbles" is propelled by the diversity of the performers.
Having women in the age range of egg (one of the women is pregnant) to fifty
years old gives perspective on the beauty myth across the lifespan. Culturally
the performers are as diverse as the riders of a typical IRT train. Minemar
uses these differences to keep the piece moving into a unified, multidimensional
view of the beauty myth instead of letting the show become a flat one-sided
attack.
Though not an "educational" production, "Angry Jellow Bubbles"
is an exploration of what beauty means to the performers, and takes us with
them to question what the word beauty means in our own lives as well.

5review = Real life, drama, complexity, smiles and tears are what you will
experience throughout this show. It is an experience, what that should not
be missed by anyone! You will walk out feeling better about yourself, or
wanting to change your personality. I have seen it over 7x's and it just
gets better and better.
