5review = I didn't like anything about this production: the writing, sets, acting, direction, light design. I liked the music, then it got stale for me. I'm unfamiliar with the source material, heard of it vaguely. The writing was arcane, which is a personal minus for me, but it seemed to progress slowly, and the acting didn't engage it. Techinically it felt too amatuer. I think having Faustus writing at a computer was an attempt to modernize the story, but that wasn't enough.
