5review = O.A.P delivers a very energetic performance. In all I was disappointed. I would have like to have seen more scene work and less games. You guys(and girls) are obviously intelligent enough to handle that, but instead allowed yourselves to plod along in scenes inspired by improvisational guessing games. It was soup followed by soup. Tell a story, for crying out loud! Improv is masturbatory without it. You all have the gift, hell, your energy is contagious, but you guys will remain a novelty only to the uninitiated unless you tell some stories.

5review = Very energetic performances, but that doesn't make up for a basic lack of improvisational genius. Audience suggestions were implemented too directly. I was never left wondering how they were going to work something into a sketch, which is usually one of the funnest aspects of improv. They also need to learn more about Shakespeare if they want to do good Shakespearian genre folktales. The Princess and the Pea was only Shakespearian insofar as it was peppered with thees, thous, and wherefors. Opportunities for real Shakespearian reference were rife, but never used. But then, maybe this was just a bad night. The show is, after all, improv.

5review = Oh, I wish I'd gone to see this show again. But as my chiropractor says, I have to listen to my body, and I'd seen too many shows, so I had to miss it.
But YOU all still have two chances to see a great, talented Improv cast! Tues at 7pm, and Friday at 8:30, at the Exit! Don't miss it!

5review = Wow!! What energy. What a preformance! My two sons(7 & 9) were laughing as hard as I was. Great improv-my 9 year old remarked to me after the show that those actors must be really smart to make jokes out of whatever people in the audience say. On the way home all I could hear from the back seat was more laughter as the boys mimiced their favorite parts over and over again, laughing harder as they both "improved" over the lines. A great show!!

Hilarious, wonderful Improv! You guys pulled every bit off with gusto! I was feeling punchy, with some weird suggestions, you made them all come true before my eyes! I love the customized bowling shirt uniforms, so you can know the name of who's making you laugh. And such lovely, voluminous hair! Worth the price of admission for hair alone. I didn't realize until this morning, when you introduced the "gerbil" into the silent Improv of "Bathing in cream while torturing a gerbil on the rack.." you TAPPED ON THE GLASS!! Excellent show title tie-in!

5review = Super energetic improv group could please any audience. They can and do tackle the most absurd situations thrown at them from the audience, which often hasn't learned that it is the not-so-absurd situations which will yield the most meaningful comedy for them. In one sequence, when a duo had to create dialog starting sentences with sequential letters of the alphabet, one of the characters -- a hick -- couldn't spell, and the results were brilliant!

5review = I've seen the OAP 3 times now. Sharp improv that makes "Who's Line Is It Anyways" look like a Las Vegas side show act. Can't wait to check them out at the Fringe. If you consider yourself a fan of the comedy -- you can't miss it!

5review = The first time I saw this comedy improv show, it was because I had to; I was running the door. Since then I've gone back several times,
and they consistently put on a spectacular show. Their improvs, mimes, and situation pieces are absolutely hilarious, and I've come away
sore from laughing more than once. They have an uncanny ability to move through seemingly impossible situations, often created by the
audience, with unexpected twists and turns. I highly recommend checking out the OAP team. They are up and coming and at the top of
their game. Where else can you watch someone mime 'milking a penguin while riding on top of a dirigible?'

Don't miss the briliiant babblings and artful antics of this tantalizing and titillating troupe!!!

5review = Out if all the improv comedy groups I have seen in my life, this one, the original action pack, had me laughing the hardest. Not only are the players all extremely talented on their own, but the things they come up with on stage together are so creative, witty, and hillarious that you question whether or not they all have a psychic connection to each other. You will immediately be sucked in to the OAP's warped world of randomness, and when the show is over you will not want to part with it. As they take suggestions from the audience, your own creative thoughts will be transformed into scenes, dances, and interpretive theater pieces that you have always dreamed of seeing on stage. Everyone I have taken to this show has raved about it. Your mom will love it, your siblings will love it, your kids will love it, and most of all, YOU will love it. Don't tap on the glass is a show you do NOT want to miss.

Oh, okay...I'm in the show, too...but I still think it's hilarious!

5review = If you haven't been to a OAP (it's pronounced "WHAP!") show, you should definitely check it out. As you might have suspected, OAP is an acronym for Original Action Pack, and not only are their shows packed with original action, but ironically enough, it's also like getting slapped across the face (metaphorically speaking) that makes a giant "WHAP!" sound. It's a sure way to spice up your social calendar, and I'm talking jabenero spice, baby. So put that in your pipe, take a few puffs, then go out and see OAP. You won't be able to thank me enough.
