5review = I liked last year's title "Black-light Kabuki" better, but I guess "Symphony Mechanique" will do.
Silly show. Short skits, nudity, songs, audience involvement, and pretty cool black-light acts. After they suggested to an audience member at Tuesday's show that he should be more drunk to appreciate their show, I imagined watching the rest of the show with a buzz. Felt about right. (But give that guy a break - he was one of your big laughers!) The naked white-face guy was pretty funny, especially liked the punchline to his love song. Also liked the saran wrap and the boxes. The guy who sprayed his whiskey breath at the audience was very whiskey-y. The blacklight stuff at middle and end of the show was really good: neat-o and impressive, juggling, etc., and especially the light and sound sabers.
If you need a light show at the end of your Fringe night, give it a try. Whatever night it's on, it's always the last show.

5review = The guitar string swords kick ass!! Very refreshing blase (that's blaz-AY -- I can't do the accent mark) attitude that puts the audience in exactly the place we need to be to enjoy this show. Much visual wackiness, and if it was a little heavy on masturbation humor and fisticuffs, who cares? The naked guy passing out chocolate and make up was actually kind of touching.

5review = I was telling my friend about this show and the parts I laughed at. She had a look on her face I have only seen when telling about someone you have a crush on and your friend stares at you uncomprehendingly- completely missing the persons appeal. This show proves you can be thinking something is stupid and be drawn to it at the same time.
Now granted the Neo Surrealists are 3 devil may care rogues with a lot of charm between them. And that might be what sucked me into seeing the show, though I am no fan of comedy. But I was laughing hysterically and in the end that's all that matters.

Absolutely crazy! A group of young men trying to be Dadaists, but they miss on the intellect. Funny all the same. Brave use of nudity!

Blatant -- and often nude -- testosterone humor. Comedy Magazine format is not something we see a lot of at the Fringe, and this one was full of giggles. Anyone who remembers and loved Mad magazine will probably enjoy this series of zany skits, offset by black light fan and streamer performance. Fun. Silly. Magpie. Go for it.
