All in the Timing includes four short plays (Sure Thing; Words, Words,
Words; The Philadelphia; and English Made Simple) by David Ives that humorously
explore a variety of complex situations experienced through an assortment
of unusual characters. From lonely bachelors to philosophizing chimpanzees,
these eccentric personalities will usher the audience through a lively fiesta
of insurmountable wit and hilarity. What's funnier than human neurosis?

with writers block! EXIT STAGE LEFT Saturday 8 8:30 PM This production represents an association between The Directors Theater of San Francisco (DT-SF) and Church of Carbon Theatre Company, a company formed by Sonoma State University directors/actors. DT-SF producing director, Paul Draper, is on the theater faculty at SSU. The soul and passion of DT-SF comes from individual directors through their artistic vision, skill, knowledge and originality. As a newly formed nonprofit entity, one of its goals is to create opportunities for new and emerging directors to find their voices, develop their craft, and create good work. DT-SF has produced a series of staged readings at the Northend Caffe in North Beach. Church of Carbon had its debut performance in January 2000 with a powerful
production of Sam Shepard's Fool for Love. It also tackled Jean Paul Sartre's
No Exit earlier this year. The Fringe Festival is Church of Carbon's first
production outside SSU. | |
