Good, edgy original humor. You can tell from their natural performance that their years of experience playing off eachother has really payed off.

Saw it opening night, first show. I really enjoyed it. For me, all but one of the skits worked, some incredibly well. Worth a look see, but leave your cell phones at home....

Timing was exquisite. The lab-workers' and bus riders' scenes went like clockwork.

<52 is the second show I've seen from the Ripe Theatre Company. It is wonderful to see a company continue to thrive in this city AND produce excellent work. <52 is thematically structured around time (a metronome at the top of the show sets the mood). Most of the sketch comedy is hilarious, with characters ranging from lab rat technicians and thumpin’ solid gold dancers to white trash ghetto boys and introverted bus-stop waiters. Every sketch is instinctive and interesting to watch. My only gripe is the HEAT in the theatre – so dress for the tropics inside. This is a must see and I can’t wait to see what’s next for these kids.

I chose this show to see opening night because the title and description caught my eye. I was pleasantly surprised and glad I showed up on time. It is definitely worth seeing- the acting is strong, the pieces are all unique while centered around the same general theme, and the show itself is tight. It was nice to see some sketch with meaning. A word of caution: dress in layers (especially if these guys pack the crowd in like they did opening night!)- that theatre gets hot!

I have been fortunate enough to see all 3 productions by Ripe Theatre and I have to say they just keep getting funnier. This group has outstanding chemistry and >52 is an excellent example of their ability to play off each other. I walked out with a hitched in my gait and a stitch in my side, ENJOY!

This was the first play we saw and were lucky to squeeze in on opening night. Do these folks have friends or what? This was a solid comedic skit presentation around the concept of time. Of the 6 skits , 4 definitely worked for me and the other two had moments but didn't quite come together as well as my favorites. Well written and performed ;laugh inducing. Worth the trip, and if opening night was any indication , it's worth getting there EARLY. It's a time thing , remember?
