If you are a college student or a recent grad with an insatiable appreciation for '80s music and sketch comedy, this show is for you. These two adorable young actors deliver their comedy like a couple of college kids sitting around trying to outdo each other with outrageous skits and stories. I especially liked "The Rose."

This basically is just a bunch of skits loosely tied together by the idea that these two men are German (?) half-brothers doing their last show before returning to Germany. Some of the skits work, but most of them don't (and perhaps are just too silly for me). My favorite part is when one of them starts speaking German towards the end.

A friend of mine saw the show on Sunday and recommended it to me. I went Monday, and had a wonderful time. It's been a while since I've had a good laugh, and it's been a while since theatre has been fun for me. These two guys look like they are having a great time on stage, and I find that to be priceless.

...No, I don't think so!

Don't worry what they say about Wooden Boy,
they said the same thing about The Kids
In The Hall's "Chicken Lady".

This is yummy comedy meat!

This was the first play I have seen since I moved to SF this year. I loved it. I thought the two actors worked wonderfully together. I thought their timing was perfect and they seemed to be having a really good time together. Maybe it's just me, but I liked the skit about the Wooden Boy. Definitely weird, but funny. I highly recommend this show.

Actually 3.75 stars would be closer. Enjoyable comedic duo , with most of the sketches producing laughs. Not as polished yet as some of the other comedy troops but enough raw talent to be worth catching their act.

This is absolutely the worst thing I have ever seen the Fringe Festival host. Being from the Midwest, I understand the cultural void of the geography, but this was the most pointless piece of garbage I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. Send these guys back to the place from which they emanated. I guess that both of their fathers (at least) considering they are half brothers were pre-neanderthals. Fart and bratwurst jokes would have been an improvement. Save your money and time. A complete disappointment.

I really enjoyed this play. I thought it was really funny and very fresh. I saw the Sunday show which really exploded. I just thought the show was really fun to watch and high energy.

My first visit to fringe theater. Nice space and this piece featured two energetic, likeable hardworking young actors who were at their best when they played off each other as brothers. But the material just wasn't funny or interesting enough to make me laugh or feel very much of anything. My 13 yr old son wanted to enjoy it but kept checking his watch during the performance.

Great energy, strong silliness, good laughs, great dramatic tension, and strong acting. Would have loved to see more...especially would love to see the relationship between the half-brothers develop--yes, I know it's comedy but what a delight to have a little drama as well. Wooden boy didn't work for me.
