Get out of my brain. I keep thinking I'm Joe Couch, the guy who's married to his TV set.

i wasn't planning on writing a review, but all the sillyness that happened at the show last night is still with me a day later. call it energy-crisis indigestion. call it a goofy show with funny bits and political tips on how the system really works. hope things run a bit smoother in the other performances, but still laughed alot.
watch out for those double entrendres....

This college-student-style satire uses the story of average-guy Joe Couch (Potato) to satirize local and national power politics and the disempowerment of the citizen. Joe has a personal TV-deprivation crisis caused by a rolling blackout. Various national and local political issues and personalities make this an amusing jaunt, especially because of Lawrence Wolf's portrayal of Ima Poser, cub reporter for TV news, whose timing and stage presence are commanding, in a silly early-Milton-Berle way. There's enough intelligent statement and commentary to keep the mind busy. There's even some audience involvement through the use of flashlights handed out before the performance.
