Nothing could have prepared me for this, my first commedia dell-arte theater
experience. Dug up from the 16th century, commedia dell'arte is described
in the program as "an unscripted theatrical form featuring stock characters
who improvise around a set scenario." In other words, early improv.
The combination of classical Italian masks and costume, improv modern and
classical dialogue and bawdy, often x-rated humor, mixed with some extreme
cartoonish movement, kept me in awe. Stephanie Sanchez is a marvel of improv
dialogue and comedic timing.

I can't believe it wasn't sold out... Everyone should see this piece! It
was brilliant, hilarious, just the right amount of scatalogical humor (thankfully
not too much),and well-acted. I loved the improv, especiallly by Capitano
& Rosaura

I thought this was a fantastic show!
Very entertaining. Amazing quick character and costume changes. The improv
in the dialog game was the best.

A solid hour of giggles, guffaws and gags. Great perfomances, lovable characters,
hillarious improv and a heaping helping of toilet humor help make Guano
an outstanding lift-the-spirit-with-laughter proposition.Well acted, directed
and executed. I will see it again.Great job.

This is in-your-face theatre. Its an hour of slapstick gags, much of it
toilet humour that reminded me all too often of Goldmember. There is very
little subtlety in the jokes. Many of them are funny - its just that the
show would have kept my attention more if they had been interspersed with
more subtle moments. The piece is pretty well acted, though. The cast of
four does a great job of switching characters willy-nilly. No outstanding
performances, but all were more than competent.
