Words by John Muir, composition by Mark Raddatz
Actor's Repertory Theatre of Sedona (ARTS)
Sedona, Arizona
60 min
Solo Performance
Children over the age of 13 could enjoy it.
$7

Mark Raddatz portrays naturalist and Sierra Club founder John Muir in a one man show composed entirely of Muir's own words. A well researched reconstruction of a Muir 'stump speech' from the time of the Yosemite Park and Hetch-Hetchy fights; his crackling wit and dramatic imagery. A sometimes thorny ramble through religion, politics and damming in the Sierras with conservation's first and most effective spokesman. "...Muir is passionate, funny; Raddatz is riveting. Highly recomended" - Red Rock Review.

Email: raddatz@sedona.net, Mr. Raddatz is a professional actor who first appeared on television "back when it was powered by steam". He has survived numerous Shakespeare Festivals and once even sank so low as to be a producer. He has played Henry Higgins in both My Fair Lady and Pygmalion, Claudius in Hamlet, Baptista in Taming of the Shrew , Jud in Oklahoma, and Arnolphe in Molliere's School For Wives.
