Grief stricken, a woman approaches a Zen Monk and demands to know why she has lost her only child. The Monk instructs her to find one whom Death has not touched. Assuming that her release lies in the answer, she sets forth, encountering a variety of characters: some simple, some fantastical. By blending Broken Buddha Production’s Explosive Movement for the Stage curriculum with improvisation techniques the ensemble workshopped the script along with the movement for this piece.
