This is a most talented and Fringe award deserving group. I loved them last year, and I am happy to say the romance continues. Mr. Dunn, Mr. Shockley and Mr. Rackham have managed to combine silliness with a compassionate wit that creates jewel like moments of theater - some diamonds, a ruby, a couple of emeralds, some turquoise, and a man-made opal; and all very good. The imbedded journalist, the audition for Napalm in the Morning, the intrepid arctic explorers, the return of the Mummy's nose again, and the cultural dance - all these and more have brought a smile to my face or caused me to chuckle in the days following the Friday opening.

Thank you all for being so good and for inspiring me to want to see more sketch art. You make being an audience member seem very important indeed. I didn't want to miss a thing, because you make everything seem immediate and newly re-imagined. I shudder to think how my life would be never to have experienced a Death Blow once and now twice.

You must see the Brits - they are truly talented and marvelously silly, and it had the best sound effects, ever! Ben Shockley was my favorite. The Elvis bit was too long but overall the show was very entertaining (if you like British comedy - and if you don't, you should be shot). A rollicking 55 minutes of laughter.

These three Brits are sketch artists for sketch artists. They continuously interact with their script directions as being dialogue. They unabashedly use plots and characters from their last year’s production. (You may recall The Return of the Mummy’s Nose? Well, it’s returned again!) When one convinces the others that they are not leaning on a bar, they fall to the ground. And when three explorers in a snow blizzard on a mountain top turn and discover us, we are there. If you feel very, very cold in that moment, you may want to consider discovering your own inner-sketch-artist. These blokes are pros.

John Rackham will be my butt-puppy! Well, no. Actually, I have no need for a butt-puppy, but I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating pudding, either. He's one of the most versatile performers I've ever seen, and he's cute, too.

Last year's "Death Blow" was a nice surprise, coming on the heels of "Heart of Darkness," from the same company. It's an even nicer surprise to see Henry Dunn rejoin the party for "Death Blow II."

Silly, irreverent, and even occasionally relevant (embedded journalists, anyone? I hear they're quite tasty); I only wish Fu Manchu had made an appearance.

I liked the original "Death Blow" last year, but this one was just a bit too derivative. Some new material, but a lot that was overly reminiscent of what had gone before. Probably, had I not seen last year's show, I would have given a higher rating.

The genre is Monty Python and all of the cast members are hardworking. It's a high energy show and the cast is up to the challenge. Occasionally I couldn't make out what they were saying; guess I must have fallen asleep once too often during my British Language class. Timing is good and direction is tight.

I look forward to seeing more new material from these folks in the future!
