Fantastically satirical fire and brimstone! Jackson can really belt it out.
A solid solo performance.

The actor professionally portrays a wide range of emotions. Interesting
concept of church and how the church can use the bible to over look human
sins.

Want to laugh at a Southern Evangelist as he tries to squelch a scandal?
Fluent writing and fluid delivery make you almost like the bastard. (I know
the performer, by the way. He isn't QUITE as bad as the character he wrote.)
The naked writhing is described, not enacted, so the show isn't all that
Fringy. Still, this sermon is one hell of a good ride -- to Kentucky, to
the plum groves of ancient Dorah, to Marin. Excellent storytelling!
"The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose," wrote Shakespeare.
After this show, you'll open a bible looking for the Book of Ethan.

River Jacksons emotional portrayal of a Kentucky ministers TV
sermon in defense of accusations he poisoned his wife, while philandering
with numerous other women, was adequate enough. However, the actors
goal of ridiculing the all-too-commonly ridiculed never lifted me to the
level of caring. It went nowhere.
