I had to see the Neos show twice again this year. Their last night show has become the Fringe closing ceremony for me and lots of other performers.

I loved the regular stuff like the Cheese Break, Love, the black light fun and of course the naked people. The Doer and The Thinker I loved - Beckett with muppets!

It was also nice to see the, apparently unappreciated, move away from comedy to more thoughtful, serious material that played with the audiences emotional reactions.

There were a large party of Englishmen watching this mesmerising production. To a man we were, to put it simply, awe struck. This would go down a storm in London. Rather rum? I nearly drank the bottle!!

I hesitate to even give this dreadful "play" ONE star. It was insulting to the audience's intelligence. It was nothing more than juvinile antics posing as avant-garde art. Ha! It was a gross fest. Don't waste your money!!!

The looseness of the "script" is refreshing at first, but as the hour gets late it seems too sloppy. Only half of the bits really scored for me. At least the big guy has balls (literally).

The bit with the funeral for the weird inventor was my favorite. I also liked the Pinteresque piece with the giant bird in a sack -- very well written and acted. The naked, glowing, dancing girls ended things on a high note, and I got to take a superball as a souvenir.

The song with the puppet going to war sounded lovely but went on way too long. And the cheese throwing would have been more enjoyable for me if I could actually eat cheese.

This show is probably more fun if you get wasted first.

a drip of water fell on my head and woke me up and now I see. Like a splash of liquid chlorine , mow I am clean. I cant wait for my children to grow old so I can explain to the children i have when i grow old that they are my children and now I have grow old that i have learned what peformance is and how to drop the balls. I love the guy in the fun hat when he droppen the balls from the column and they glows and then i really liken they mixed media that the neos reallistits did with thye colours. I will dream tonight of plastic.I will dream tonight of missing legs after the wars. I will dream tonight of that question.
I cant wiat to grow old so I can write a book about the neos reallisittics. I loved the shoe.

A moose sea.

The Neo-Surrealists are showing signs of age. Still the silly frat humor we’ve come to know and love them for, but the cast this year is half of what it used to be, and it’s lost some of its dazzle. The “Mimercize” skit (a class of exercise for mime players) is my favorite addition to this year’s show.
