Great dialogue! Well-written, funny, political, tightly drawn. Some awkward
moments on opening night but the actors were clearly into it and I look
forward to seeing more from this playwright. Yay Kriz!

Ball and Daisy Chain was a great first start for this young playwright.
Some of the dialouge was a bit heavy handed in liberal politics (and you
can't get any more green than me) but I love the wonderful silly ending!
The peformers were good (with special ups to the lead, his lover George
and his FABULOUS drag best friend). A snip here...some snip there...a super
fab and meaniful production. A good choice to see.

A lively, entertaining play performed by a fine, talented ensemble! Very
funny, but with some heartfelt pathos as in the scene between Jed and George.
Excellent debut by writer/director Kristine Bell with a solid, well paced
story. The whole cast was fun to watch, in particular Leon Goertzen.

This is a terrific comedy that has a big heart and some very sharp contemporary
political points to make. And the actors made me hot!!! The complexity of
relationships is drawn with a great deal of shading for such a laugh-filled
play. I'd like to see this work expanded to a 2-act full-length piece.

I am writing for both my 85-year-old mother and myself. We are both Republicans
and dearly loved the play. We enjoy attending theater around the country,
and this was one of the best. It was a clever drawing room comedy and exposed
the human foibles of us all - there is none among us perfect - NO, not one!
The writing was tight - no wasted words or movements and the acting adorable.
This author seems to have seen a lot of life and is able to convey her observations.
Thank you, Ms Bell!

A very enjoyable piece of theater. The script was funny and wacky. Great
ensemble of actors. Leon Goertzen was fantastic as Jed, and the whole cast
was fun to watch.

I rarely attend plays but absolutely loved this one. I definitely recommend
it. Not only was it fun, witty, humorous & charming, but I liked how
it dealt w/ homosexuality & the varying left vs right views on the subject.

I thought this original play was excellent! Intertwining humor, social issues,
and a great love triangle-(director, writer, and producer) Kris Bell did
a fantastic job rounding out a 45 min. play. A great addition to the Fringe
Festival! |
