Casting was super, actors were superb. The performance was exciting. My only negative thought is that it ran for such a short time many people missed it and I couldn't get back for a second time. The character development was excellent and I found myself believing that I knew them personally. Jan Rose was remarkable as Jane. She really lit the stage with her appearance. Thank you for a delightful evening.

Wow! That was a meaningful and witty look at the hearts and souls of ex-starlets. Great performances! I highly recommend this Fringe favorite.

What a pleasure to experience the art of Film Noir delivered through the magic of "Hollywoodland"! The acting was enthralling, the charisma of the actors pulling me through each scene as though I was there, hanging on their every word. And the writing! As one who dabbles (www.bamboochest.com), I was impressed by the witty twists and turns in dialogue! If you like writing that doesn't talk down to you, has splashes of humor, and want a play that ties the 1950s/1940s with the present in an impressively dramatic manner, then watch this play: FIVE STARS for ACTING, DIRECTING, LIGHTING, and WRITING!

HOLLYWOODLAND land is a refreshing and funny look at the challenges of aging with glimpses into both old and new Hollywood. In our youth-oriented world, it is a rare and special treat to find a "mature" cast. I was delighted by the performance and recommend it highly.

Hollywoodland is a hoot. It is refreshing to see a play about three old broads in an actors' home. It is quirky, funny and timely. It is a "must see".

What a looney bunch of characters... These rest home dames are too much! Hollywoodland
has a talented cast. The memory sequences are very touching as faded actress Jane Norman (Jann Rose) relives her 'tough dame' days of the '40's. This is a well crafted production.

What a blast! Film Noir returns to SF. Not since Maltese Falcon have these tough broads has such a field day. Greg Baldwin and Jann Rose give us a frantic -- and often tender --look at getting a new screenplay cast -- or, is she just being "used

Not what I expected at all! Hollywoodland takes us behind the scenes during the movies' Golden Days with those femme fatales, tough guys and kooky dames. This one act has great audience appeal with a cast that's well-chosen and strong all the way through.

I really enjoyed Holywoodland. To have a larger cast (6 in all) in a Fringe show was special. This play has really developed since I saw it's earlier version more than a year ago. Hal Savage has given us a warm but piognent look at backstage Hollywood during the earlier days. Strong cast throughout.
