Joani Rose made me laugh and cry. I enjoyed every minute of this show. The music was great and the stories heartfelt and unabashedly honest.

Hey, how often do you get to here a violin and acoustic guitar fronted by a singer at the Fringe? Muscial comedy, original songs by Joani Rose and company, as she sings about her life, much of it in Humboldt(?) county. Kind of a bluegrass twang to much of the music. Fairly light hearted, a friend's death is treated with a deft touch

i highly recommend this play. Joani Rose's performance was one of the most honest self-examinations i have had the pleasure to see. she takes the audience from emotional highs in her life to places of deep pain. Fortunately, she leaves the audience on a high note having explored the complex facets of life in the woods of Humboldt County. Bravo! Bravo!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this show funny, touching and highly entertaining. The music is fabulous and Joanie Rose is wry and witty, with interesting stories to listen to and great stage presence. Children of hippies should definitely see this show!

this woman is amazing. the piece is well written and well paced, funny and touching. her voice is lovely and the songs are right on the mark, satirical yet sweet. and funny! the show makes you wish to know more about her. p.s. the musicians are quite good and blend perfectly with her.

I didn't know what to expect but i ended up having a great time. As a single mother who used to be a farmer etc. i am 20 years Joani's junior but still related to her at every step...even the parts like menopause and retirement that i can only try to catch up with!

I saw this play over the weekend and I loved it. Joani Rose tells a great story about her life as a young single mom raising her kids and growing up herself in the hippie counter culture. Her story is one that a lot of us baby boomers can relate too. Her songs are right on, she sings great and has two really great musicians accompaning her. Get there early and hear some really great preshow music. I highly recommend this show.

Didn't quite know what to expect, but I was very pleasently surprised by the depth of this show. The humor (lots) and fabulous music took it over the top for me. Clever songs - wonderful stories, honest and engaging.
