great physicality. this is an actor to keep an eye on. very funny and so deliciously silent like the movies. a great import shwo from canada!!

If you do not know anything about silent films and the transition into talkies...and the casualty actors who did not make it...Viva Vivi is a great comedic lesson to that era. The silent physical work was fantastic. Wonderful strong funny comedy in that bag. The costuming (down to the Clara Bow Lips) was dead on. I super enjoyed it. Poignant and sweet. And very funny. Everything I expect from Canada! This show (unlike the character) does not fade with time. A great show to see!

This is an exquisite and exquisitely crafted jewel of a show: Diana, the direction, the story, the music (beautiful - it moved me to tears at one point), the sound design (not only were the characters perfect, but the actual period feel of the audio), the set design (the screen!), costume, makeup, and props (some reminiscent of the Cabinet of Doctor Caligari in a gentler way) are all wonderfully, beautifully perfect. Diana is amazing (her eyes DO glow!), so magnetic, so pitchperfect as a performer, and I cared about her passionate, spunky character so much. Diana really gets into your heart - today, I find that I miss Vivi.

If silent movies were still the norm, Diana would be a major star right now! Her expressions are priceless - so good that she can do the whole show without saying a word. Lots of old fashion fun.

What a great show! Not often will a performer have the courage to put on a show in which she doesn't rely on her voice, but rather on pure emotion to portray a character...Vivi is alive and there and funny...all without a word. A brilliantly original piece...finally, something worth seeing! Go see it!

The most amazing thing about this delightful, classic physical comedy by the talented and enormous-eyed Diana Galligan, was her ability to keep my attention and a story rolling without saying a word. Poignant, clever and amusing! Film-noir-ish/Clowntastic!

It's true - her eyes do glow!

I really enjoyed this "silent-film" like play. Great kooky character, funny story and some really wacky moments. Love them bon-bons. Good show!
