See this show. It's a great show and I found myself getting lost in the performance (in a good way) instead of retaining conciousness of the surroundings - and all that with no se and just one performer. Plus the venue is great and perfect for this performance. Get your tickets quick - it may sell out this weekend!

A rambling but highly entertaining autobiographical account of one man's work trevails and his blue collar family. Stephen is smart, engaging and funny. While he seems to ramble and bounce from subject to subject without a clean segue, that merely adds to the charm of the performance. He is very good at winning an audience over to his side. A worthy show.

Very funny stories about growing up working-class and trying to be creative. Steven beautifully describes the challenges of underemployment and coming to accept compromises in life. Highly recommended.

I took a chance on this show and was pleasantly surprised. Steven's show is engaging tapestry of stories about his working class background and the American dream. How do you pursue dreams when you're so damn busy wiping tables, driving trucks, loading ships, washing laundry? His stories are moving, interesting and funny. He has an amazing presence on stage and had my attention at all times. Another great part of the show is the venue. It plays at Original Joe's where you can grab a cocktail and enjoy the show in style.

It was OK. I found the presentation annoying in parts. Stories were OK, but nothing special. Few funny parts. The entrance and exit were sloppy. If they were meant to be part of the show it wasn't clear.
