Entertaining. Light. Performances were uneven. A bit of brotherly pathos. I wasn't sure what to expect. The postcard for the performance doesn't have much of anything to do with the show itself. Worth the 50 minutes. You won't walk out whistling the songs, but you'll leave fealing entertained.

Well, it is a full on, Oscar and Hammerstein style musical clocking in around 40 minutes. Clearly a lot of work has gone into crafting the mostly well performed songs. I thought a couple of the actors were quite strong - "the girlfriend" and the "dead jumper" (I'm not giving anyway any surprises there, he announces he's dead in the opening number), but some of the other cast members were pretty uneven. I also could not get past my own prejudice - I just don't like the artifice of traditional musicals and I couldn't get over that. So, it wasn't a show for me, but it might appeal to others.

loved the concept--truly unique for a musical. i wanted it to go darker with the humor--but was very happy with how it went overall. could see this getting further development for a two-act musical. check it out.

Great show - but the write-up in the Fringe literature doesn't do it justice. They should have provided a more apt photo - perhaps one of "Annie" fixing to go over Niagara Falls in her barrel, with her 1920s mourning outfit on... the photo in the brochure makes it look like a fire-dancing thing, with belly-button tattoo & cropped top etc., but I didn't see anything like that in the show... Quite funny & strange. I enjoyed it immensely.
