ADVERTISING IN THE SAN FRANCISCO FRINGE PROGRAM

Advertising is available in the 14th annual San Francisco Fringe Festival program. Prices range from $300 for the smallest Non-Profit Theater ad to $1,500 for the largest Business Rate ad. The SF Fringe prints 10,000 festival programs and the program is the essential tool that the audience uses to select from the 250 total performances available. The Fringe Festival is September 8 - 19, 2005. All ads support the San Francisco Fringe Festival, the largest grass roots theater festival in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Space reservations, artwork, and payment are required by July 8, 2005. Anyone paying by June 29 will receive an additional 10% discount. Please see below for general ad information and rates.

THE EVENT
This September marks the 14th annual San Francisco Fringe Festival, a marathon of theater from September 7-18, 2005featuring over 40 independent theatre companies and over 200 performances. The shows run the gamut from comedies and cabarets to performance art and classic theatre. This twelve day festival is a mainstay of the SF arts community offering variety and accessibility (with tickets priced at $9 or less) that attracts a wide spectrum of theatre goers and enthusiasts for new and exiting work.

WHO ARE OUR AUDIENCE?
According to surveys , the Fringe audience is young and varied -- 53% under 35 years of age. About half are from San Francisco, with 88% from the Bay Area.
An avid theater going group -- two-thirds have attended theater recently -- most have attended alternative venues; half have attended ACT, Berkeley Rep or another major theater. Most of the audience planned to see three or more Fringe shows.

According to the surveys, the audience likes the variety in the festival; the inexpensive tickets ($8 or less); the small, intimate venues; and the experimental and unpredictable nature of the work.

Please supply a digital file in MAC format: via CD or email with the document in Quark Express, In Design, or Photoshop as TIFF, EPS or JPG of at least 300 dpi only (be sure to include all fonts and placed images).
