BUYING TICKETS:
Tickets for all Fringe shows go on sale 30 minutes before the show at
the venue. Advanced tickets are also available but must be presented at
the theater by show time since THERE IS NO LATE SEATING and THERE
ARE NO REFUNDS. Some popular shows, especially on the last weekend,
will have a line to buy tickets even before they go on sale 30 minutes before
show time. At least 50% of each Fringe show is reserved for sale at the
venue.

For Fringe shows at EXIT Theatre, EXIT Stage Left, EXIT on Taylor and
Original Joe's the advance tickets are only available online and are only
available up to 24 hours before the performance time.
Most Fringe shows have advance tickets available for their performances
although some in the Non-Traditional Fringe Venues have not set up advance
tickets or reservations.
FOR ADVANCE TICKET HOLDERS REMEMBER THERE IS NO LATE SEATING.
Once the show starts you will not be admitted, even with an advance ticket,
and there ARE NO REFUNDS AND NO EXCHANGES.
FREQUENT
FRINGER PASSES:
The Fringe Festival provides Frequent Fringer Passes for people who want
to see more shows at a discounted ticket price. The FIVE SHOW PASS allows
you to see five shows for only $35 and the TEN SHOW PASS allows you to see
ten shows for only $65. Frequent Fringer Passes are not transferable and
can only be redeemed by the cardholder at the venue. Note: the Frequent
Fringer Passes are a discounted way to see Fringe Shows. They cannot be
used to buy Advance Tickets and do not guarantee admission. Go early to
avoid disappointment. During the Fringe Festival the Frequent Fringer Passes
are available by check or cash at the Fringe Hospitality Desk at the EXIT
Cafe, 156 Eddy Street, San Francisco.
LOCATION
OF FRINGE VENUES:
- The EXIT Theatreplex (also known as "Fringe Central")
is located at 156 Eddy Street, between Mason and Taylor in Downtown San
Francisco. This is the location of EXIT Theatre, EXIT Stage Left
and the EXIT Cafe (which is the Fringe Hospitality Center with information,
Frequent Fringer Passes and food and beverages). During the festival The
Mexican Bus also sells tickets, departs and returns to this location.

- Just around the corner from the EXIT Theatreplex are venues Original
Joe's Cabaret (located in back of the restaurant at 144 Taylor Street
between Eddy & Turk) and EXIT on Taylor (located at 277 Taylor
between Eddy & Ellis).

- Four blocks North of the EXIT Theatreplex is the Phoenix Theatre
venue (located at 414 Mason Street, on the 4th floor, between Geary &
Post Street). Four blocks South of the EXIT Theatreplex is the Off-Market
Theatre - Stage 205 venue (located at 965 Mission Street on the 2nd
floor between 5th & 6th Streets). Also South about 7 blocks is CounterPULSE
(located at 1310 Mission between 9th & 10th Streets).

- DIRECTIONS
TO THE EXIT THEATREPLEX:

- By public transportation take BART,
the MUNI underground, or any Muni bus on Market Street and exit at the
Powell and Market station. Eddy Street begins at Hallidie Plaza (the Cable
Car Turnaround) at Powell and Market and all four EXIT stages are two blocks
west at Eddy & Taylor Streets.

- Parking: there is a parking lot
at the corner of Eddy and Taylor Streets, adjacent to EXIT Theatre, which
provides supervised parking, usually for $15. There are also the less expensive
public parking lots three blocks away at either the 5th & Mission garage
(enter from Mission between 4th & 5th) or the Ellis O'Farrell garage
(enter from Ellis or O'Farrell between Powell & Stockton Streets).

- Driving from the East Bay just after
reaching San Francisco you take the Fifth Street off ramp, continue West
to Sixth Street and turn North. Continuing north on Sixth Street you cross
Market Street onto Taylor Street. Two blocks further north you will be
at the corner of Eddy and Taylor where there is a parking lot adjacent
to EXIT Theatre and EXIT Stage Left, two of the Fringe venues.

- Driving from the South Bay you take
either the Sixth Street exit from Highway 280 or the Seventh Street exit
from Highway 101, continue north on Sixth Street across Market to the parking
lot at Eddy and Taylor Street.

- Driving from the North Bay you cross
the Golden Gate Bridge, entering San Francisco you continue east on Lombard
Street and then turn South (right) on Van Ness Avenue. About two miles
later you turn East (left) onto Eddy Street continuing until you reach
the parking lot at Eddy and Taylor Streets.
