STANDARD VENUE SHOWS
|
The Majority of Fringe performers mount shows as a Standard Venue Performer. Successful Standard Venue applicants are assigned to one of the downtown Fringe Venues and are scheduled for an allotted number of 60 minute performance slots. Local companies receive four performance slots and non-local companies receive six performance slots. IMPORTANT DATES for Standard Fringe Venue Applicants

NON- TRADITIONAL FRINGE VENUE (NTFV) Tell me more about Non-Traditional Fringe Venue Applications |
The primary intent for Non-Traditional Fringe Venue applications is to foster new and innovative ways of presenting theater. Over the years the SF Fringe has hosted shows presented on moving buses, in local parks, bars and cabarets, at the planetarian and the tulip garden in Golden Gate Park, and on a Market Street park bench. It is an opportunity for shows that do not fit the Standard Fringe Venue format. Proposals must meet the SF Fringe Guidelines for NTFVs and be approved by the SF Fringe. The SF Fringe will not judge the artistic nature of a project but rather its viability. IMPORTANT DATES for NTFV Applicants
