Sonderkommando interweaves the performance of ancient, medieval, and early-20th century texts with choreographed dance and body movement text into a dramatic and violent performance. The characters will movingly act out the brute force of violence, captivity, and slavery within a moral lie of superiority.

Sonderkommando is written and directed by Wolfgang Thompson and performed by Pangs Theater.

Pangs Theater has recently performed Georg Buchner's Woyzeck, Moliere's Don Juan, and Wolfgang Thompson's multi-disciplinary performance pieces Resolved and Lamb. In the Summer of 2008, Pangs Theater is performing Garcia Lorca's trilogy of plays, Blood Wedding, Yerma, and House of Bernarda Alba.
