Greg Kloehn, born 1970 in Denver, Co. where he enjoyed the typical suburban up bringing complete with tennis summer camps, skate boarding at the 7/11 and undirected rebellion. Upon graduating from high school in '89, Greg attended the Evergreen State College where his ideas became even more radicalized. Leaving in '91 Kloehn moved briefly to NY then Amsterdam in search of life's elusive quest. Not finding it at the sex shop where he initially worked Kloehn began to work with artists on large-scale installations. Returning to America in '95 Kloehn attended CCA and graduated with distinction in glass. In '99 Kloehn purchased a condemned warehouse and a rundown Victorian in Oakland and began refurbishing and reconfiguring them. Currently he is making homes, offices, and sound studios in shipping containers and dumpsters using trash found on the street.
