Dog Wax.
I really liked the Alanis Morrisette impersonations, though!

5review = Series of silly skits worth seeing. They are performed by a troup
of Canadian women; many have themes relating to sexuality or the experience
of being a woman. These are all handled tastefully and are often quite
funny and for the most part are presented in a way which is accessible
and friendly to men; although, as a man, I was a bit alienated by a brief,
sudden rant about how misogynist the world of theater can be. The skits
are a bit uneven (perhaps courting to different styles of humor), but I
must say that there a few that left me laughing harder than I have in a
long, long time. I must also applaud their foray into sexual themes; this
culture desperately needs more open communication like this, and they managed
to bring up serious issues in a way which was entertaining, interesting,
and often funny.
- Parents thinking about bringing children in tow, be advised that there
is some nudity.

5review = Wow! This show blew my mind. These women put on one
hell of a hilarious, intellegent and well-
written show. And they seem to be having
a hell of a lot of fun as well. The Titanic
Dance, the hip-hop song, the "special"
helmet kid, and the strippers stood out for me.
But there are many other scenes that are very funny as well!
This show is poignant, bold, brash, and refreshing. NOT
what you would expect when you hear the term
"Female Comedy". These girls are breaking down
barriers fast a ferociously, and I'm glad I caught
them in the "act".
I would advise going to the washroom before the
show. I nearly peed my pants.

5review = Hilarious. Don't miss it. Great writing and acting. They can
be ridiculously over-the-top or very believably human--particularly in
the babysitter and disco sketches. They have the audacity to take as a
name a reference to the "Kids in the Hall"--the best sketch group
in the last
30 years, and they live up to the comparison. I've never seen another all-female
group, and with so many all-male groups, I hoped they would deliver on
all that an all-female sketch group can be. And they did! (Hmm--bad writing
on my part.) Only one male character (Oh, two--I forgot about Leonardo)
in the whole show. They have plenty of female characters to explore. Highlight:
the "Titanic" interpretive dance.

5review = Beautiful overall. I couldn't stop laughing during the helmet
scene, the rap scene, Titanic interpretive dance, and the "erotic"
dance scene!!! And the opening scene with characters Liz & Brianna
is brilliant. It was lovely to spend an hour with the Helens.

just all right, but others are tear-laughing hilarious. The "Titanic"
dance alone is worth eight bucks. Go see it.
