5review = Spoken word poetry spaced between Go-Go dancer "intermissions"
made the performance interesting and diverse as only San Francisco can
have it.
- Amidst a darkback drop and silver snakes, the performers take you from
the Central Valley to a monologue with the devil. (Isn't that the same
thing?)
- Go-Go dancers rip up the stage, and explore the taboo (can you think
of more than one way to say "whore?")
- Complete with a tragically funny tale "Dad's on Oprah," a
hysterical lip-sync political piece to "Got Milk" and ending
with a Fairy Princess, these performers explore a subject to it's depth.
- A wonderful performance with a creative cast, it is sure to leave
you on your feet. A must see!

The subject matter was profound as well as entertaining. I like the fact
thatalthough the message conveyed was heavy, the actors did not take themselves
too seriously.

5review = What an intellectually and visualy stimulating experience! I
particularly enjoyed the dramatic contrasts between Persephone and Core,
as well as Hades' "Welcome to Hell" address. The Deva Dyad at
the microphone was delivered with genius timing, peppered with plenty of
opportunity for guilt/shame release, and fun to watch. An evolutionary
experience! See it!

amulti-demensional journey to hell and back. Overall it was a very enlightening
experience, a great departure from poetry readings at the Paradise! Bo
gives this show 2 thumbs up.

5review = I TOOK MY TWO BOYS (AGES 12 & 10) TO THE REVIEW ON
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 1999. THE THREE OF US FELT
THAT THIS PLAY WAS ENJOYABLE AND WAS A GOOD
INTERPRETATION OF LIFE AND DEATH. THE FOUR ACTORS/
PARTICIPATES MADE A GOOD ATTEMPT TO EXPLAIN THE
TRANSFORMATION/GROWTH OF THE FEMALE LEAD. THE ONE
PART ABOUT "MY DAD IS ON OPRAH" HIT HOME FOR US
AND SAID WHAT WE HADN'T SAID TO ONE ANOTHER (OR ANY
ONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER) ABOUT THEIR (MY) DAD
(EX-HUSBAND). ALTHOUGH I PERSONALLY ENJOYED THE
VOCALS, MY TWO SONS AGREED THAT IT MADE THEM FEEL
GOOFY. THERE VERY LITTLE ADULT LANGUAGE SO, THE
BOYS DID NOT FEEL PUT UPON.

small untrained and uncultured minds have to spew?
How about real reviewer brought on by the Fringe's ability to bring out
the "real" media ?
