5review = I didn't always understand it. And characters definitely seemed
to jump attitudes to stay within some kind of scripted logic without maintaining
emotional reason, yet, I appreciated the way all the actor put it all out
there. That's gutsy and risky. And worth a look.
- play = Deconstructing Julie
- name = Ted Shaner
- rating = 4 stars
- review = A cleverly constucted playlet -- quite engrossing in its exploration
of sex, political angles of all kinds (mostly cynical and self serving),
and the consequences of naive assumption chacon and kelly are exceptionally
effective but McCulloch is miscast as Julie though not enough to harm the
dramatic intensity this production summons up.

5review = Moderately amusing show, but more than a little contrived. More
fun than going to the movies, but I'd probably recommend opting for another
Fringe show, instead.
