The fruits of your labor really shines. The actor who played the part of
Gitta touched me most. Her clear and well vocalized delivery brought the
character to life. The part was made for her. Keep up the good work!

5review = Finally!! A play, production, and acting worth seeing in San
Francisco!
Not flawless, by any means, but a truly satisfying theatre piece.
Rachel Steinberg renewed my hope in the theatre here.
As for the comments about it being static or without drama--theatre comes
in
many varieties. It's not all "Star Wars" or "42nd St."
It also is "My Dinner With Andre" and
"Krapp's Last Tape". If it's good, new, provocative, and well
done, it's exciting.

dull. Though the actresses had talent, there was hardly any drama on stage.
Sadly, I kept wishing the Nazi's would come back.

5review = First of all let me say that Rachael Steinberg was beautiful.
Her acting looked effortless and seamless. Her being was literally radiant
and translucent. A strong role for a strong actress. She's needed this.
Not enough good roles for strong actresses. Neat to see her in a role that
really shows how strong of an artist she really is. She carried the play
and we were carried by her. Lots of heart and truth. Girlfriend! You walk
your talk! Love, love, love you woman of courage and strength.
- I thought the play was meaningful and important. I loved the music
which really set the tone and the set and staging were really simple and
right on. The only problem for me was that the text was so extensive that
it did not allow for enough action which would in turn make the text even
more compelling.
The black angels/spirits were very effective. I liked how they seemed to
mirror the underlying truth and intensity. Excellent.
- It was a fun night. I really liked the Exit theatre space. I had never
seen it before.
Congratulations on a job well done by everyone.

- The Hungarian accents were initially quite distracting(except elder
Gitta's, which made sense). The dialogues, however, were verypowerful and
inspiring.

- Review: Than you for your hard work and choice of this beautiful, inspiring
piece. I thought the acting was very professional & moving. My critique
would be the chanting /singing over the speaking at the beginning was too
loud & distracting but when it came up againg at the end it seemed
ok (wasn't so loud:) Will try to get people to see it.
