EXIT Studio, 156 Eddy St, SF
FRIDAY Sept 21st 7pm
The Tipped & the Tipsey returns for One Performance Only to benefit the 2014 San Francisco Fringe Festival. Tickets $20.
The Tipped & The Tipsy is a satire of the glamorous world of bar culture. The show is an ode to the people who serve us and those who are waiting to be served. Ms. Vice portrays a multitude of characters drinking, philosophizing and brawling with each other. A highly physical show blending elements of drama and stand-up comedy, The Tipped & The Tipsy transports you to your local watering hole without any props or other actors. So, pull up a bar stool at “Happy’s” where the beer is cold and the bartender is hot.
Jill Vice has pursued physical theater for the last decade. She trained with Jeff Raz at the San Francisco Circus Center and studied mime and mask with Leonard Pitt and James Donlon at the Flying Actors Studio. A graduate of the A.C.T. summer training congress, Jill’s background includes a wide array of performances in physical comedy, mime, clown, improv, and film. She once toured the UK in a punk band called Chester. She has performed her piece, The Tipped & The Tipsy at the Chicago Fringe Festival 2012, the Rogue Festival 2013 and at the Marsh Theater in San Francisco.
To support her acting lifestyle, Jill has slung drinks at over 25 bars in San Francisco and continues to do so today.
